These two girls Michaela and Samantha, are two powerful swimmers who reached out to our school all the way from Te Awamutu and donated swimming gear to Glen Innes School. They heard that our school needed togs because a many of us weren’t swimming, so they asked their clubs, and people that they knew if they had any togs they could donate. As you can see, this morning we met them and they are only in year 6 and 7. They both brought their swimming trophies and medals to show us and man they have a lot. It was so cool to see their medals and made me want to swim more often at school.
