This is my corn art. I have been working on it for a few days now. I am very proud of my art and I think that it is my best work now.

Zain: Corn Survey
For the last 2 weeks we have studied “corn maths”. We all did a survey on how do you like corn? We filled in the survey on our netbooks and our teacher filled out the other staff members opinions.

Huntah - Arrival of Corn In New Zealand

According to Yen James Cook and European explorers brought maize to New Zealand. Maoris grew kumara, potatoes and squash. Europeans gave corn to Maori.
Did you know corn was first grown in New Zealand by 1772. Captain cook came at about 1689.The weather is really suitable to have corn in New Zealand. Spanish explorers explored America. Christopher Columbus went to America and took the corn it to Europe.
That is when James Cook brought corn to New Zealand.
Sometimes the maoris can trade, barter and exchanged food with the Europeans. Corn can be used for cereal, lunch products, mixed veggies and breakfast cereals.
