Arihi Fantasy Story
Walt:write a narrative.
One day my friends and I were walking along the meadow. One of my friends said that they could smell fire. Then we noticed a fire truck.
As we were walking along we saw a big house that was on fire and a lot of people were surrounding it. Everyone was beginning to worry because there were kids trapped inside the fiery house and there was no possible way to get them out. The fire men even tried to get out their long ladder but that wasn’t even long enough.
I was thinking to myself we need a superhero then I looked up into the sky and saw a little flash of light coming down to us. So I went back to the fire truck to get the flash light and by the time I got back there was a man dressed in a cape and a superman costume. Everyone screamed/yelled “ Look it’s super man ”. One of the firemen told him if he could rescue the kids. So he flew up into the house without getting burnt , He swooshed up their got the kids and swooshed back out. Everyone was relieved and really happy.
The whole town wrote a thank you letter to the superman/hero for saving their children. After they gave the letter he swooshed back in the sky as fast as a cheetah. So we all went back to the fire truck just to check if everyone was safe and gladly everyone was safe.

Tainah Sports Camp Story
Walt: write a narrative.
I was standing on the wet grass in front of 100 people from 7 different school and could not believe what I was seeing. Tainah was performing an unrehearsed haka. She performed at Totara Springs. Well she was embarrassed to do the haka although she’s wearing a Maori costume. Tainah looked at the crowd and felt scared. She started to perform. It was funny! It was amazing! It was fantastic! Tainah made the crowd go crazy.
When Tainah finished her performance, she cried because everyone was laughing at her. The bell went and Tainah needed to go volleyball. She only took one step, and everyone started to do the haka. Tainah kept on crying. It was sad and funny at the same time.
When Glen Innes School was playing volleyball t against Weymouth they were four points down. Tainah was requested to join the volleyball team on court. Tainah focused and served a no return ball. There was a 3 point difference now. Two serves and a return spike got GI to equal the score. Her team mates were encouraging her to concentrate and close the game. She won the crucial point and GI won the game. Her team hugged and high five each other. Underlay,Underlay was all one could hear.Glen Innes had won and the crowd just went crazy. Tainah was hoping she could carry play with the same passion in the finals.
Well Tainah forgot about the embarrassment of the impromptu haka. She was glad that she could help her team. She was so proud of her passionate haka and her volleyball game.

Blade - Last Day of Sports Camp
Teachers and children were getting bored waiting for the bus to come. Andrew saw us still waiting for the bus to come so he gave the children a few balls to play with. Teachers and a few children were playing a little game of football while other children were playing on the park. One hour latter of still waiting for the bus Andrew said “That the children could go on the water slide for only half hour. All the children was well over the moon when they got told that they could go on the water slide.
WALT: write a narrative sports camp.
Ohh the day we had to go back home. Some people were not happy on leaving sports camp.
Mr Hendricks barked out the instructions to clean up our dorms and pack our bags up. When the children finished packing their bags they had to put it in the center where everyone was sitting. Some children were lagging off the cleaning duties. When the children finished cleaning up they all had to meet in the same spot where the teachers and children put their bags. After that they picked up their own bags and carried it to where the bus would meet them.
Half hour after having so much fun on the slide finally the bus turned up. When the teachers loaded the bags into the back of the bus. After that children found them a seat on the bus and sat down. Off went the bus leaving the camp grounds. Going back to Glen Innes School in Auckland. On the way to School the tyres whirr and then one of them popped. The bus driver pulled over and check the tyres. The bus driver changed the popped tyre. It took the bus driver about 20 minutes. After that we were back on the road and off to school. We had a very awesome trip on the bus back to school.
Theme: There are always positive solutions to problems.
