Megan How to make a cup of Tea
Many people enjoy drinking tea. Tea is enjoyed by families and elderly people.
The ingredients should be hot boiling water, tea bag, teaspoon, sugar, cup and milk. Place these items on the bench or table.
First boil the hot water. Then add the tea bag into a tea cup. Pour the hot water into the cup then leave the tea bag for few minutes so it can brew. After that remove the tea bag. Add a teaspoon of sugar and milk into the cup for a personal taste. Stir the tea for a few seconds then it’s time to serve it.
The cup of tea will be served with biscuits and crackers.

Andrea- Rap : Chinese New Year
WALT: write a rap
During the Chinese New Year
You’ll see people dancing.
When they were finished
People would say that it was enchanting.
Outside of their house
There are decorations.
But you will never see them
Outside of train stations.
On those decorations
There would be rhymes and poems
People would read them
But obviously not golems.
During the night
They light off firecrackers
Watch out parents
Hide your daughters.
The Chinese New Year
Is a religious festivals
They celebrate the years
Using symbols of animals.

Samuel- Inspirational Teenager-Devta Muskan
Muskan Devta is a 15 year old who has a health problem called Partial Hemiplegia. Partial Hemiplegia is when half of you body does not function well. Muskan Devta is an inspiration to me.
Muskan Devta is a inspiration to me because when she was young, she was a loner which means she had no friends. When she had no friends, she went to the library and read books. When she was 9 years old, she published her first book. When she told us that, I thought about if I do the same thing as her, maybe I can publish my first book. When she talked to us, I thought she would sound a bit weird but when she spoke, she spoke very good. I think she could speak properly because of reading books.
When Muskan Devta went to a intermediate school, she began to get friends. When she was in intermediate, she was a collen writer. That means she wrote the news for the radio announcers. When Muskan Devta was young, she already knew how to speak 7 different languages. Thats pretty impressive to me. When Muskan Devta wrote her 2 books, she raised funds for Starship Hospital.
Muskan Devta is an inspiration to me because even though she had no friends when she was young, she carried with her life. She told us to not be afraid, and achieve what you want to become. That is why, she is an inspiration to me.

Shanelle Chinese New Year Poem
Chinese New Year
On Chinese New Year
They celebrate
Here let me show you
I will demonstrate
There is fireworks
And lanterns too
They also eat dumplings
For them to chew
Chinese New Year
Is called Spring festival
On that day
They eat a lot of vegetables
Children get gifts
That they enjoy
Some of the children
Get many toys
Every new year is
Named after one of the twelve animals
One of the animals is a horse
Who eats a lot of apples
Red is the known colour
Of Chinese New Year
Whenever they celebrate
They cheer
Families get together
On this day
When they are in the house
They always pray
Chinese dance
And dress up too
They just want something
To do
Children write on paper
And stick it on their doors
They never stick it
On shopping stores
Chinese celebrate
Chinese New Year
I even think last year
Was the year of the deer

If the number is 1234 476 then the nearest ten is 1234 480. I am going to learn more about tidy numbers.

Samuel- How to play Rippa Rugby
How to play Ripper Rugby
Ripper rugby is a game like rugby but tackling and hurting other people is not allowed. Ripper rugby is just a fun game that you can play anywhere.
To play ripper rugby, equipment is always needed. The equipment to play ripper rugby is tags, belts, two teams, a rugby ball, open space (easier on fields), cones, coaches and an empire. When people play ripper rugby, people also need a big space to play it. If your school has a big field, that’s a good place to play ripper rugby. When people get ready for ripper rugby, people have to set the cones out so when the player goes to score for the team, they know wear to score.
Playing ripper rugby is like playing rugby but is a little bit different. Each team has to have tags the colour of their team. For example, if there is a blue team, people in that team have to have blue tags. If a team has the ball, the other team has to rip the tag of the player before he score for the team. If the player holding the ball gets his or her tag ripped off, he or she has to stay on the spot and pass the ball to the team player. Tackling or full contact is disallowed. To score a point, you need to get a try like on rugby.
Ripper rugby is a fun game that should be played everywhere like the beach or big fields. When you play ripper rugby, make sure people enjoy ripper rugby because it is a fun game.

Mikayla Technology
At technology, I visited a site that had drawing tools and effects on it, which is Sumo Paint. It was really hard to draw my fruit from the paper to the internet. The easy part was knowing where all the tools were, because I've used this earlier this year.

Tainah- Ingredients for Muffins
This is a picture of the ingredients. I was so happy that Alfonso who is a chef came to Glen Innes School to demonstrate how to make muffins. Since, I’ve seen Alfonso make a muffin, I can make one for myself. To make a muffin, it takes 5 or 6 minutes to put the ingredients together. Then you need put it into the oven so it can bake for 30 minutes.

Walt: find 13 ways of showing ½
In this game, you have to find 13 ways of showing half. I needed to know what was half of 8. It was easy to find the 13 ways of showing half because I just needed to click on four of the white tiles. They all have to be unique designs. This was a very awesome game and next time I would like to learn more on algebra.
