Alisi, Maths- Pizza Game
Walt: play the pizza game.
This game is really challenging for me because I had to make the orders in time so I can get more tips. It was good to have a change of games this week, because my teacher Mrs. Ramkolowan usually gave my group maths games like hooda maths.com or mathletics but she changed the games now. The easy part was just making the pizza. The hard part was getting the orders in time. This game can’t be more difficult than it is. I would like to get faster at the orders.

Alisi report on Contributions by Ancient Egyptians
Walt: write a Egyptian contribution.
Egyptian contributions
One of the last contributions from the Egyptians was the 24 hours in a day. The Egyptians decan noticed breaks along the ecliptic and later discovered the night into 12 parts. Which obviously meant that there would be 24 parts in a day. The other contribution was the number of days in the calendar. The Egyptian already knew there was 360 days in a year. Later added 5 days for feasting, making a total of 365 days.
The Egyptians also contributed in the field of maths. They invented the numbers based in ten, which we use today. Geometry was very useful to the Egyptians when surveying. The also used fractions and and whole numbers to count.

Alisi Technology of Toys
Technology - Toys
Walt: make a toy.
My toy was an oscillating bird. The bird was out of thin cardboard such as a breakfast box or poster board. The bird is at the top of the rubber band, when it goes down it goes in a back and forth motion. My toy was the smallest one in the Room 11 class. The materials was easy to get, I just needed a cereal box , rubber band, straw and felts to colour it. My toy was really simple to make. At the end, Mr. Hendricks judged all of our toys. He picked three toys that was innovative and creative. The top three were Britney, Matthew and Mikayla.

This is my toy.
My toy’s mechanism is pulley.

Interview with Arihi by Alisi
Interview with Arihi
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
In the army. It’s because I learn confidence and strength.
What makes you angry?
Lots of things make me angry. What makes me really angry when people gossip false comments about me.
What do you hope for the future?
Rich, hopefully. In a nice house living a healthy lifestyle. And most importantly enjoying life.
How do you see the world today?
A good clean environment.
What makes you sad, possibly cry?
When a close friend or family member passes away is what makes me miserable.
What do you enjoy?
Being around good friends and helpful teachers.
If you were an alien, what would you look like?
Red skin with lots of eyes, ten tentacles and two noses. I would live in mars.

What is your favourite cereal? by Alisi
I used excel to draw my 3D graphs. My data was represented in cylinder graph and a pie chart.
The results revealed that other was the most popular choice. Coco pops came in second and Milo came in third place. The least liked breakfast choices were Cornflakes and Rice bubbles.
I think other was the most popular because maybe Weetbix or muesli, or some other healthy choice is enjoyed. Possibly the other brands are much cheaper and more tasty.
