Yesterday we were learning about enlargement. Our task today for maths was to enlarge a picture of an ant, hat, dinosaur, or lion. As you can see I tried to enlarge a picture of an ant it sorta came as I pictured it but I drew the last part of the ant to big. The little picture of the ant is 9 centimeters and the large picture of the ant is 18 centimeters so the scale factor is 2. I had to count each square on each picture as I started to draw the larger ant so the measurements could be as precise as possibly. I found this drawing activity a bit difficult because the legs and the circle at the end was hard to get in the exact spots. After doing this activity I would like to learn more about co - ordinates.

ReplyDeleteI really like your enlargement that you drew of your ant. I did a tiger and it was pretty difficult. How long did it take for you to draw this?.

ReplyDeleteI loved the way you used the grid it looked just like it.Was it easy when you did it outside the one that you did outside was better.When I did my hat on the paper on it did not look like the hat.Even the way I color it.Was it hard when you did it ?
