Glen Innes

Glen Innes school, when I think about it. I think how different it is from others, such as it’s playgrounds, teachers, learning styles. As our school motto say: ‘A caring, innovative and fun learning environment’.

Caring

Glen Innes is a very caring school. Like for example, a student didn’t bring any lunch to school. In other schools they will just simply call the parent. But in Glen Innes school someone will just make that particular student a sandwich. In Glen Innes School there is also a event that a teacher plans which is the whole school has breakfast or lunch.

Fun

Every year there is G.I’s Got Talent. It is a very similar to American Idol and Britain’s got talent . It is fun for both the audience and competitors. Just recently we celebrated Race Relations Day. Almost everyone dressed in their cultural outfits. Some students even made a little speech in their language. There was also some performances.

Innovative   

The senior classes have netbooks, unlike other schools. Also, at the moment we are training to go sports camp. We also take consideration of our students ideas.

Environment

Our environment is nice and clean.

All in all Glen Innes School is great.
