Yesterday 9 of us went to St Kentigern college to meet 4 of the Silver Ferns. It was so exciting because I never met them before. The skills that we learnt were shooting, passing the ball straight and hard to their chest. Catherine said that power comes from your legs. She is my most favourite out of all of them. The skill that I mostly enjoyed was shooting. We played a game called golden child, even though I’m not a shooter I still enjoyed it. Maria said that she started playing netball when she was in a certain age then a few years later she became a Silver Fern. She is a Silver Ferns for 11 years now.

ReplyDeleteIt must of been a great experience meeting the Silver ferns and also training with them. I wish I got to meet the Silver ferns but I'm not into netball. Its good that you got to do some more skills so that you could improve on becoming a netball player.How did you feel training with the Silver ferns?
