Yesterday 9 of us went to St Kentigern college to meet 4 of the Silver Ferns. It was so exciting because I never met them before. The skills that we learnt were shooting, passing the ball straight and hard to their chest. Catherine said that power comes from your legs. She is my most favourite out of all of them. The skill that I mostly enjoyed was shooting. We played a game called golden child, even though I’m not a shooter I still enjoyed it. Maria said that she started playing netball when she was in a certain age then a few years later she became a Silver Fern. She is a Silver Ferns for 11 years now.

ReplyDeleteI really like your post on meeting the silver ferns. You and a few other girls were so lucky to be able to met some of the silver ferns. Maybe you could become one one day. Out of all of the silver fern players, I have only met Maria Tutaia and no one else. Have you met Maria Tutaia?

Kia ora Lakai I liked that you said that your not a shooter but yet you still enjoyed playing the game that's the main part. I also did this task and I really enjoyed it. I think having fun is most important. Would you like to go again?.
